October Becomes Most-Watched Month in Bounce TV’s History

ATLANTA (Nov. 3, 2015) – Bounce TV — the nation’s fastest-growing television network designed for African-American audiences – continued its ratings surge in the just-completed October ratings period with the month becoming the network’s most-watched ever among Persons 25-54.

 

Bounce TV posted significant double-digit increases in both Primetime and Total Day vs. a year ago:

Prime:

Households              186K, +23%

Persons 18-49           101K, +29%

P25-54                        118K, +27%

P2+                             268K, +28%

 

Total Day:

HHs                            148K, +25%

P18-49                        73K, +26%

P25-54                        84K, +18%

P2+                             205K, +29%

 

Among African-American skewing networks, Bounce TV beat BET multiple times throughout the month while trouncing TV One. Bounce TV beat BET in Total Day delivery seven times in P18+, four times among P25-54 and twice among P2+. Bounce TV swamped TV One in Total Day in HHs every day of the 28-day October ratings period, as well as 23 times in P18-49, 19 times in W18-49, 26 times in P25-54, 25 times in W25-54 and 28 times in P2+

 

Helping fuel Bounce TV’s strong monthly performance was the return of the network’s hit original series Family Time. Season three of Family Time debuted on Oct. 6 and has become Bounce TV’s most-watched original series to date. The Family Time season three, episode four premiere telecast (Tues. Oct. 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET) became the show’s most-watched telecast ever, delivering 286,000 Households — an increase of 8% vs. the previous episode’s premiere telecast and 9% over season three to date. New season three episodes of Family Time debut on Bounce TV Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. (ET).
