Kim Coles - Jo

KIM COLES is probably best known for her zany characters and outrageous sense of humor. She started her journey in showbiz as runner-up in the “Big Beautiful Woman” pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was then she began plus-size modeling and went on to perform as a stand-up comedian which turned into a career that has continued to skyrocket. Maybe you remember her as “Synclaire” in FOX’s ground-breaking comedy series, Living Single, or maybe on many other shows like In Living Color, One on One, Ten Items or Less, Frasier, or HBO’s Six Feet Under. She was the co-host of the nationally syndicated daytime talk show In the Loop with IVillage and has been a co-host for various shows, including The View and Good Day Live. She is also known to reality TV audiences, having appeared on The Mole, VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club, and BET’s Pay It Off and Coming To The Stage. KIM COLES has performed on comedy club stages across the globe. Maybe you were fortunate enough to get tickets to one of her hilarious and heartwarming one-woman award-winning plays, Homework or Oh, But Wait, There’s More! which she wrote and produced. Angela Gibbs - Marilyn

Angela Gibbs has a diverse history of accomplishments in the entertainment industry. She entered the business as a theater actor quickly moving into Television and film. Some of her current credits include; TV shows… Hacks, This Is Us, S.W.A.T. , 911 Lonestar, On My Block and films include Love Jacked, Straight Outta Compton, Stone Cold Christmas, Think Like A Man. Angela was also a series regular on Aaron McGruder’s, Black Jesus and is proud to join the cast in recurring role on the new Bounce series, Finding Happy. In the fall Gibbs will be joining the cast on the ABC series led by Gina Rodriquez, Not Dead Yet. An acting coach, Gibbs worked with various A list actors on films like Birdman and The Revenant with Oscar winning with director, Alejandro Inarritu. She also coached on the Tupac biopic: All Eyes On Me, White Boy Rick and Antebellum to name a few. Angela’s short film, Ties That Bind, won HBO’s Best Short Competition at Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival and aired on BET in the Best Short competition series. The film also won the Jury Award at the Pan African Film Festival. Angela directed a Ghanaian women’s empowerment documentary, Dare To Struggle, Dare To Win, and the film was chosen as the Opening Night event for the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Markētta Patrice - Jamila

Markētta P. Wilder (known by her stage name Markētta Patrice) is an American actress, recording artist, writer, and producer. Born and raised in Chicago, IL; this multi- talented artist is a force to be reckoned with. Markētta is an all around entertainer, whose versatility and range allows her to thrive in diverse performance spaces. As a classically trained actress, she is praised for her ability to navigate both dramatic and comedic roles. From starring in musicals at the Goodman Theatre, to performing at the Kennedy Center; she is no stranger to a stage. Her film/TV credits include sketch comedy show Friends of The People, and the hilariously innovative comedy Black Jesus. As a recording artist she injects her bold, fierce, fun and down to Mars personality into everything she writes and records. Her latest single/visual “Bothered B****” infuses a real talk message, with a funky groove that will surely make you move. She recently launched her production company Wilder H.E.A.R.T Inc., where she is committed to producing, and creative directing visual content for independent artists, writers and filmmakers of color. Markētta is most excited about her latest work as a series regular (portraying the role of Jamila), on Bounce TV’s newest show entitled “Finding Happy”. The dramedy is set to air Fall 2022.

B. SImone - Yaz Carter

B SIMONE is a comedian, actress, and businesswoman originally from Dallas TX and who now resides in Atlanta GA. B Simone is a long standing cast member of MTV’s hit series Wild N Out with six seasons to her name – her other acting credits include multiple feature films as well as dozens of appearances on BET, MTV, and VH1. The exposure has brought her a huge fanbase of over 5.6M Instagram followers and her own wildly popular make up line BSimoneBeauty and fitness line BSimoneFit. B Simone is also taking over the world of stand up comedy, headlining her own sold out comedy tour in clubs across the country and appearing as a special guest alongside comedy legends on the Ladies Night Out Comedy Tour and the Lit AF Tour with Martin Lawrence.
