Family Time Viewership Grows for Fourth Consecutive Week, Season Three Episode Four Premiere Becomes Show’s Most-Watched Episode to Date

ATLANTA (Oct. 29, 2015) – A network show growing in viewership week over week in its third season is extremely rare in television.

Bounce TV — the fastest-growing African-American network on television which airs on the broadcast signals of local television stations and corresponding cable carriage – is seeing that happen as the first four episodes of its original sitcom Family Time have now each posted viewership gains over the episode the week prior.

The Family Time season three, episode four premiere telecast (Tues. Oct. 27 at 9:00 p.m. ET) became the show’s most-watched telecast ever, delivering 286,000 Households — an increase of 8% vs. the previous episode’s premiere telecast and 9% over season three to date. The show also delivered 440,000 total viewers.

The telecast also racked up increases in key demos including Adults 18-34 (+42%), A18-54 (+12%), Women 18-34 (+43%), W18-49 (+21%) and Men 18-34 (+38%) over the episode three premiere on Oct. 13.

Family Time also helped fuel Bounce TV’s strong Primetime viewership on Tuesday night, which outperformed TVOne by double-and-triple digits among HHs (+94%), P18-49 (+100%), W18-49 (+187%), P25-54 (+46%), W25-54 (+97%) and P2+ (+139%).

Family Time comedically chronicles the lives of the Stallworths who relocated to the suburbs, headed by the dad Tony Stallworth (Omar Gooding), a struggling general contractor, and his wife Lisa (Angell Conwell), an unfulfilled stay-at-home mom.  The half-hour situation comedy was created by Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show, Martin) and is produced by Evans and partner Trenton Gumbs (Love That Girl).

New season three episodes of Family Time debut on Bounce TV Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. (ET).

Bounce TV is the fastest-growing African-American (AA) network on television and airs on the broadcast signals of local television stations and corresponding cable carriage. The network features a programming mix of original and off-network series, theatrical motion pictures, specials, live sports and more.
